c.o.r.e. (campus organizations resources & education)
Campus Organizations Resources & Education (CORE) is run by students for students. The primary role of Campus Organizations is to promote and enhance student involvement through advisement, outreach, programming, and support.
CORE Consultants are responsible for outreaching to UCI's diverse student organizations. CORE Consultants develop the resources necessary for the success of UCI's student organizations through the creation and implementation of workshops on topics such as:
- new organization registration
- goal setting
- fundraising and applying for funding
- marketing and publicity
- event planning and management
- how to run a meeting
- risk management and liability
- UCI and community resources
CORE Consultants also assist in the planning and publicity of large-scale campus organization events such as Anteater Awards and the Student Organization Leadership Conference. Five positions are available (applications become available in the Spring Quarter for the next team of CORE Consultants).
